How you met your fiancé?  We met through a mutual friend/family member at Arlington Memorial Hospital.

How did he propose? Ernest proposed while we were sailing back from a 7 day cruise on Carnival Magic. During dinner, he got up and started talking, took out a box, and kneeled on one knee. I don’t remember what he said… it was a blur! I just said, YES!

Favorite Feature about your dress: The ruching and the Swarovski crystals

How did you know your dress was “the one”? Two of my bridesmaids were with me to try on dresses. When I walked out and their mouths dropped. I knew it was the one. I felt like a princess and I knew that my fiancé would love the dress.

Describe your experience at Pence & Panache: The entire staff from was wonderful during the entire journey. You all made me feel like family. Patient, friendly, and always went above and beyond to accommodate everyone in the wedding party. Beautiful people inside and out. Asia and Sue made sure that everything was perfect.

What accessories did you choose to accent your dress: Jewelry by Cezanne, Veil by Richard Designs, and hair accessory by Belaire Bridal.

What was your “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue”?  Old- grandmother’s anklet, New- Dress and Jewelry, Blue-The words “I DO” on the bottom of my shoes.

What color palette did you select? I chose fall colors purple, orange, and burgundy. I found the bouquet that I loved with all the colors and then choose colors from the bouquet.

How do you describe the theme of your wedding? Contemporary with a hint of romantic theme.


What is your #1 tip for brides in the planning process? A wedding coordinator/planner is worth every penny.

 



Do you have any advice for brides who are still searching for their perfect bridal gown? Make sure that no one stops you from getting the dress that you LOVE! It is worth every moment on your wedding day which will be priceless!

What was your favorite part of your wedding day? I actually have two favorite parts. 1).Walking down the aisle 2).Our first dance.
