Bride’s Name: Tami McLennan

Groom’s Name: Darron McLennan

Wedding Date:  April 23, 2016

How you met your fiancé?  We met at a waffle house with my family and his friend wanted to go there late one night

How did he propose? He proposed to me on a Saturday night while we were on a date. It was a nice Italian restaurant. We were in a booth and he left and came back. I was just talking and I saw a red rose jewelry box. I just thought it was a gift because it was Valentine’s Day. No…. He took my hand and asked me would I marry him. I was like serious… I cried and cried and said yes. We signed our names on the booth where we were sitting.

Your Bridal Gown & Accessories

Who was the wedding gown designer, and what was the style? Allure 9051 in ivory silver gold

Favorite Feature about your dress: The train

How did you know your dress was “the one”? I purchased one dress but when I went in to Pence and Panache looking for shoes and I saw the dresses, omg…. I had to try them on. That was the best decision I ever made. I tried on a few and each time the dresses got more beautiful than the last. When I got to the Allure 9051 dress, I literally had to have it, and I got it!

Describe your experience at Pence & Panache: My experience with Pence and Panache, they worked with me and gave me all the help I needed and answered all my questions and they were very accommodating.
What accessories did you choose to accent your dress:: I used my great grandmother’s jewelry and it accented the dress very well.

Your Wedding Day

Wedding Venue: Robson Ranch in Denton, Texas

Who was your Wedding Photographer: Photos taken by a friend

What was your “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue”?  My something old was my great grandmother’s jewelry. My something new was my shoes. My something borrowed was since my wedding dress had to be cut she used the fabric to make my straps. My something blue was a handkerchief.

What color palette did you select? The color palette was plum, wisteria and silver.

How do you describe the theme of your wedding? There wasn’t a theme. Just simple and elegant.

What is your #1 tip for brides in the planning process? My number one tip for brides is to shop around and don’t go with first vendors you hear back from.

Do you have any advice for brides who are still searching for their perfect bridal gown? My advice if you are still searching for your dress, is to go to Pence and Panache. You will find a one of a kind dress.

What was your favorite part of your wedding day? My favorite part of the wedding was walking down the aisle seeing my soon to be husband.
