How you met your fiancé? In college at Georgia State University. We were both athletes (football and soccer) and met through a mutual friend.

How did he propose? We took a trip to visit friends in Seattle, WA. We went to a Japanese Botanic Garden and he proposed on a cute little bridge.


Your Bridal Gown & Accessories


Who was the wedding gown designer, and what was the style? Allure Women’s W341 in Champagne

Favorite Feature about your dress: The beautiful Tulle skirt and the simple beading across the bodice.

How did you know your dress was “the one”? It was opposite of everything I envisioned and after not quite finding anything. I tried on the biggest dress in the store and fell in love. It fit perfect and looked amazing!


Describe your experience at Pence and Panache.  It was awesome! They make you feel like the only bride there! Everyone was knowledgeable and so friendly.

What accessories did you choose to accent your dress: Long veil with beading and pearls on the edge. Kendra Scott Rose Gold Druzy earrings.

What was your “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue”?  Old: Long socks I received for Christmas that said “Happy” on them. New: The dress. Borrowed: My earrings. Blue: My Cowboy boots!


What is your #1 tip for brides in the planning process? Stay organized and don’t stress. It will all work out like it’s supposed to and be perfect.

How do you describe the theme of your wedding? Rustic Elegance

What color palette did you select? Blush, Gold, Cream and pops of greenery!


Do you have any advice for brides who are still searching for their perfect bridal gown? Try on something you thought was everything you didn’t want!

What was your favorite part of your wedding day? Opening the chapel doors and seeing my groom for the 1st time. It was magical! Such a precious moment!
