The Bride and Groom

How you met your fiancé? I met my fiancé at a birthday party of a mutual friend.

How did he propose? My fiancé and I were in a long distance relationship our whole courtship. So I went to visit him in South Carolina and he took me to dinner and popped the question on a dessert plate. The ring was in the middle.

Your Bridal Gown & Accessories

Who was the wedding gown designer? Blue by Enzoani, Ferrara

What was your favorite Feature about your dress: My favorite feature about my dress was the mermaid style. I also love the lace and the tulle.

How did you know your dress was “the one”? I visited Pence & Panache two weeks before to get bridesmaids dresses and one of my bridesmaids pointed it out, so when I came back it was the first one I tried. I loved it. I tried on others but none of them gave me that “feeling” so I tried it on again and saw my grandparent’s faces and knew it was “the one.”

Describe your experience at Pence & Panache: I choose Pence & Panache for my bridesmaids dresses and loved it so much I came bake to get my dress. Everyone there was very nice and friendly. During both visits the Pence & Panache team really made and effort to make me happy.

Accessories chosen to accent your dress: I choose a beautiful veil.

What is your #1 tip for brides in the planning process? Don’t be too proud to ask for help. The stress of planning a wedding is real.

How do you describe the theme of your wedding? Do not procrastinate. I was engaged for over a year and still waited to the last minute to do everything and it was beyond stressful! Also, do not feel the need to please everyone, at the end of the day it is your wedding, do what makes you happy not what makes others happy.

How do you describe the theme of your wedding? The theme of my wedding was “Kiss long-distance goodbye.” To make this theme come to life we had a Suitcase wedding cake, chocolate kiss favors, and a world globe as a guest book.

What color palette did you select and how did you choose? Gold and Cream

What was your favorite part of your wedding day? The day it self! I just felt so magical.
